DomoDucks is the first collection to enable holders to become on-chain breeders such that their inscriptions are capable of mating to produce genetic offspring. Holders who collect differing breeds of male and female ducks will be permitted to inscribe 1 male child and/or 1 female child below the two love birds as multi-parent inscriptions, and the first 128 offspring will officially become a new collection called DomoDucks (Gen2) which can be traded on Magic Eden: DomoDucks (Gen2), simply put, is the second generation of DomoDucks. Each duck in the collection is the child of two first-generation parents. The prior generation contained 5 distinct duck species (i.e., Mallard, Mandarin, Harlequin, Smew, and Wood Duck), meaning that a total of 40 hybrids are possible; hence, this new edition will have four times the variety at half the supply. In summary, DomoDucks (Gen2) will be created entirely by the community, and it will be linked, on-chain, with the prior generation via multi-parent-child provenance: a lineal descent that's traceable back to inscription #256—the first duck on Bitcoin.
